Jews have long been referred to as "the chosen people." But why did God choose us? What exactly are we chosen for? And, most importantly, how should this impact the way we live our lives? During this interactive text study session, we will look at chosenness and covenant in the book of Genesis and explore how this concept lies at the very core of Jewish purpose and meaning.

Shoshana Boyd Gelfand is Director of JHub, a program of the Pears Foundation. Previously, she was the CEO of the UK Movement for Reform Judaism and Vice President of the Wexner Heritage Foundation.
