Holocaust deniers have become more sophisticated in their techniques in recent years. We will explore how they disseminate their ideologies, compare "hardcore" denial to "softcore" denial, and ask what is the best way of responding to this. We shall also ask: how real is the threat of denial?

Deborah E. Lipstadt is Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish and Holocaust Studies at Emory University. Her latest book, The Eichmann Trial, was published in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the trial’s start.
