Halachic (Legal) Views of Christianity: Three Streams in Rabbinic Thought

This session will analyze three streams of rabbinic thought on the halachic (legal) status of Christianity: the negative, the neutral and the positive. The feasibility of tolerance and pluralism within a halachic (legal) framework will be studied concluding with some personal reflections from Moshe from his experience as a chaplain in the US Army Reserve.

Moshe Grussgott is the Spiritual Leader of Congregation Ramath Orah on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where he previously served as Associate Rabbi from 2007 to 2011.
