Founding director of the Open Siddur Project, the open-source digital humanities project sharing the texts and art of Jewish spiritual practice, Aharon Varady is an environmental planner and Jewish educator working to improve stewardship of the Public Domain, be it the physical and natural commons of urban park systems or the creative and cultural commons of Torah study. He currently studies the intersection of theurgy, experiential education, and ecology at the JTS/Davidson School of Education.
