Deborah Dash Moore

Deborah Dash Moore is the Frederick G. L. Huetwell Professor of History at the University of Michigan and the Director of the Jean and Samuel Frankel Center for Judaic Studies. A historian of American Jews, she focuses on the twentieth century experience. She is the author of a trilogy: At Home in America (1981), GI Jews (2004), and To the Golden Cities (1994). Most recently, she served as the general editor for City of Promises: A History of the Jews of New York (2012).
